In fact, an author our son Eric speaks of often – John Behr – in his book John the Theologian and his Paschal Gospel: A Prologue to Theology, speaks of the importance of the Gospel of John in terms of our basic beliefs… “Christian theology, as we know it, is inconceivable without the Gospel of John and especially its Prologue. Within a century or so after its composition, it was described as ‘the spiritual gospel’ and in the following centuries its author was referred to simply as ‘the theologian’.”
